Our Philosophy

We build websites to effectively convey your brand using a range of best practices, some of which are outlined below.

We start with a drive to understand your goals, continue if your website needs are a good match for our services, and end with elegant, effective websites.

Our style tends towards a sleek, professional minimalism, but capturing your vision is ultimately more important than our aesthetic preferences.

We are located in Chagrin Falls, Ohio.

Responsive Web Design (RWD)

Responsive Web Design (RWD) is an approach to building websites that emphasizes aesthetics and performance across a wide range of devices, from mobile phones to desktops.

This does not mean the website will look the same on any two devices – the goal of responsive web design is to create a website that dynamically rearranges itself in a way that best suits the screen in use.

If you need compatibility with older legacy browsers, or have specific requirements beyond the representative samples listed above, please let us know.

Content Management Systems (CMS)

Websites are built with code, and without the relevant experience that code can look pretty intimidating.

A Content Management System, or CMS, makes it easy for non-technical users to add or edit content on their site.

We work with two Content Management Systems, WordPress and Drupal.

Many – perhaps most – websites could be made with either and work well. The needs of your website, its editors, and its end users will determine whether one would be better suited to the task.

Search Engine Optimization (SEO)

We cannot guarantee where your website will appear in the search results for Google or Bing. There are many factors that influence where a page ranks in search results, however, and we will carefully attend to those factors that fall under the domain of website design. If you would like to go beyond this and develop a strategy to improve your ranking and drive traffic to your website, please let us know.

What sets us apart is the way we combine technical skill with a personal approach to meeting your unique goals.
